We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Driver to join our JP Accommodation division at our Grangemouth Depot . This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team delivering essential accommodation and power solutions to customers across various sites.

As a key player in our logistics operation, you’ll ensure that our equipment reaches customers safely, efficiently, and in top condition helping us deliver on our promise of dependable, high-quality hire services.

How This Role Supports the Delivery of Hire Solutions

In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you’ll be a vital link between our depot and our clients. Your work directly supports the delivery of hire solutions by ensuring seamless transport, expert handling, and exceptional service every step of the way. Responsibilities include:

  • Safely operate HGV vehicles and Hiab cranes to deliver and collect accommodation and power equipment across customer sites
  • Supervise the safe and efficient loading and unloading of equipment using Hiab cranes
  • Liaise with site managers and customers to confirm delivery arrangements, access requirements, and security protocols
  • Navigate varied customer sites safely, professionally, and in line with site-specific safety rules
  • Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks to maintain compliance and safety
  • Follow all transport regulations, company procedures, and health & safety policies
  • Represent Jarvie Plant with professionalism, delivering excellent service to customers and internal teams

You’re a reliable and safety-conscious driver with the qualifications, knowledge, and attitude to deliver an exceptional service. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A valid LGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence
  • An in-date Driver CPC Qualification, with a minimum of one CPC training day completed per year since obtaining the card
  • An in-date Digi Tacho Card
  • Good knowledge of EU driving hours regulations and tachograph rules
  • An in-date Lorry Loader (Hiab) certification – experience operating Hiab equipment is essential
  • Experience of construction site deliveries is highly desirable
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and adapt to varying site conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-friendly attitude
